Grey market premium (GMP) is an unofficial, unregulated indication from the grey market. It is not an exchange price, it is not a forecast of the listing price, and it should not be read as one. A blank cell means the figure could not be sourced, not that it is zero. Subscription figures carry their own as-at date: the three BSE SME issues were last stamped 1 October, two sessions before this one, because 2 October was a holiday. Vishal Nirmiti's final subscription is left blank — the trackers disagreed and no closing-day figure could be confirmed. Its share count is NSE's filed 84,71,153; chittorgarh carried 80,90,909. Anchor book status was not disclosed for any issue in these sources.

US index cards show the Monday 5 October Wall Street close, the same calendar session as the Indian close. Brent is the December contract as quoted during the Indian session. Bullion is a retail reference rate from Business Today, stamped 5 Oct 2026, 10:16 AM IST — a morning quote, not a closing one — and these rates vary by city and exclude GST and making charges; the 22K figure is Delhi. On the rupee, PTI reported a 5-paise fall to 96.30 from a stated 96.25, while Reuters reported 96.2925 against a prior close of 96.3150 — the level agrees at about 96.30, the direction does not, so it is shown as little changed.

What we are watching next session

  • The RBI's policy resolution on 7 October, after four consecutive meetings without a change in the repo rate. Issuers with floating-rate debt or rate-sensitive guidance should have their commentary ready either way.
  • TCS opens the Q2 earnings season on 8 October, with a second interim dividend on the same agenda — the first read on IT demand and the start of the results calendar proper.
  • Three BSE SME issues — Acme India Industries, Paramount Syntex and TNA Solutions — close for bidding on 6 October; R.K. Fashion Accessories on the NSE SME platform closes 7 October.
  • Whether FII selling keeps moderating. Net cash outflow fell to ₹4,699 crore from three straight sessions above ₹9,400 crore, and DII buying of ₹5,182 crore more than covered it.
  • A dense ex-date cluster on 9 October: Mold-Tek Packaging's 1:1 bonus, Accelya's ₹35 dividend and the record date for Transport Corporation of India's buyback all land together.
