The percentages above are from Liquide's closing wrap. Nifty Next 50 and Nifty Microcap 250 are omitted from the benchmark cards entirely, and the midcap and smallcap cards carry a percentage without a level, rather than publishing estimated figures.

Grey market premium (GMP) is an unofficial, unregulated indicator quoted by private dealers. It is not exchange data, carries no guarantee of a listing gain, and can move sharply within a single session — it is shown for context only. The whole GMP column is taken from a single time-stamped source rather than blended across trackers. A blank cell means the figure was not sourced for this edition, not that it is zero. NSE's own offer for sale (₹1,700–1,785, ₹22,569 crore) and Sonaselection (₹94–99) opened on 17 September and so are not shown here.

What we are watching next session

  • How the rupee, FII flows and the IT and export names absorb the Federal Reserve's first rate increase since 2023, and its projection of one more this year.
  • NSE's own ₹22,569 crore offer for sale opens on 17 September — the largest issue of the year, and the clearest read available on primary-market appetite.
  • Whether domestic institutions keep covering foreign selling. They did on 16 September (+₹3,908 crore against −₹2,033 crore) after failing to on 15 September.
  • Brent near $107.51 and the rupee at 95.95: the two inputs most likely to turn into a margin question on the next round of results calls.
  • Fund-raising and debt items at Federal Bank, Power Grid, Vedanta, VIP Industries and Share India Securities on 17–18 September, plus buybacks at Emami and Responsive Industries.
