Closing levels for the sectoral indices are not carried in this edition. NSE's allIndices feed was still serving the 10 September intraday snapshot when this edition was built, so its previous-close field had not yet rolled over to the official 10 September close; the percentages above are as published in the session wraps rather than computed from a level we could not source. Nifty Energy is not part of the allIndices response in any case.

Grey-market premium is an unofficial, unregulated indication traded outside the exchange mechanism. It carries no exchange or regulatory sanction, moves continuously through the bidding window and is shown here as market colour only — not as a guide to listing price. NSE's official issue feed could not be reached on this run, so issue size, lot size, basis-of-allotment dates and anchor-book status are not carried in this edition: a blank cell means not sourced, not zero. Prasol Chemicals, Infrax Renewable, Om Galaxy and Panchatv Bharat had no GMP quoted. Three issues opened the following morning and are not listed above — Manika Plastech (Mainboard, ₹40–43), Century Business Media (SME, ₹70–74) and Injecto Polymers (SME, ₹98–100), all 11–16 September. Further out: Hero Motors, Jindal Supreme and SS Retail (16–18 September) and the National Stock Exchange of India's own issue at ₹1,700–1,785 (17–21 September).

Bullion, currency, crude and volatility at the 10 September close. The US index cards show Wall Street's close on the SAME calendar day, Thursday 10 September, which had completed before this edition was written.
What we are watching next session
- Six mainboard books and three SME issues close on 11 September. Subscription across that cohort, and QIB participation in particular, is the cleanest available read on primary-market depth before the National Stock Exchange's own issue opens on 17 September.
- A four-day week that is really a three-day one: the exchanges are shut on Monday 14 September for Ganesh Chaturthi, the same day India's CPI and WPI print, so the market cannot respond until Tuesday.
- Whether foreign selling keeps decelerating. FIIs went from a net ₹582.99 crore of sales on 9 September to ₹438.24 crore on 10 September, while DII buying stayed above ₹1,000 crore for a fourth session.
- Brent above $100 for a third consecutive session and the rupee at a record 95.46. Both feed straight into the import bill and the inflation print, and both have been setting the tape more reliably than company news.
- Whether the bank-led bid broadens. Breadth was negative on both exchanges even as the benchmarks closed higher, and the Midcap 100 fell for a fourth day.
